She actually thought we'd ruined someone else's proposal at first (because apparently I'm halfway decent at acting like I don't know what's going on) and was like, "Oh my gosh, we have to put these back, they're for someone else!" and I was like, "Are you sure?"

Good gravy, people... it's not about the technical aspects.

This is probably one of the few photos I'll ever post where I'm completely unconcerned with the technical quality. I also didn't post it to collect points. It's a once-in-a-lifetime shot for me (not because I can't go back and retake a similar shot, but because it's a capture of a specific moment in time), and I'm glad I was able to get it at all

@  moserArtist: Three bottles with messages in them (that I had written) were planted in the sand along the beach. The bottle in the photo is the last of them, which was in the middle of the circle of candles, and contained the message, "Marry Me?" It's all right in the description, although perhaps it's a little vague.

Considering the low light and all the thoughts that had to have been rushing through your head while setting this up, I think this photo turned out wonderfully.
